8. CommentsC/2004 Q2 Macchholz is visible to the naked eye, even with the moon high. The tail isn't visible, even with binocs or scope. Comet was just north of a line between 35-Lambda-Tauri and 5-Tauri. Also could make out Andromeda with naked eye.
